Appearing yesterday with Neil Cavuto on Fox Business News, Neil asked a question about insurance and whether FEMA programs and policies encourage people not to insure their homes and belongings on the belief that FEMA will come in and bail them out.
That got me to thinking about the National Flood Insurance Program. How long will it be before Congress or this Administration get the idea that the federal government should provide tornado, mud-slide, blizzard, hurricane, tsunami or other natural disaster insurance coverage?
