Full Moon News Day. Is It Me Or Is This A Really Bad Day Already?

What’s going on today? Part of my routine is to scour the headlines every morning to get a little perspective on what’s happened in the world overnight, what’s going on over on the East Coast as the liberal elites start their daily baloney spewing, and start thinking about topics for the radio show. Today I open the computer, start my scouring, and immediately reach for the barf bag. Today seems just a little but over the top. Consider the following.

Today is the National Day of Prayer. God knows we need more of it. But if I read one more headline where Barack Obama is telling us that he pushed for Dodd-Frank oversight of Wall Street because it’s the Christian thing to do I’ll need several barf bags. But then it gets even better. Mark Knoller, CBS White House correspondent, Tweets this during the National Prayer Breakfast:

No, Mr. President, that is not what Jesus taught. Yes, to whom much is given much is expected, but that is my individual responsibility to use my talents, wealth (what little I might have), abilities to help others. Jesus did not command that governments be the arbiter of who has much and who should receive. Salvation is an individual gift from God is not a collectivist concept that we can only be saved if we all lock arms in some sort of communist orgy. Obama’s view of salvation and Jesus’ teaching is nothing more than Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s black liberation theology which is pure Marxism.

Mr. President, don’t lie to us – you listened to everything Reverend Wright taught in those “Goddamn America” sermons because we see you acting on his words in your Marxist policies.

But enough for now about his Marxist religious beliefs being imposed on us as government policy. More headlines to make you steam and squirm:

In the “I told you so” category, Attorney General Eric Holder is sticking to Rahm Emanuel’s philosophy of never letting a crisis go to waste by using the Fast and Furious scandal to push Congress for gun control. I love this group and how they so blatantly use Orwellian language and actions to push their radical agenda: sell arms to the Mexican drug cartels, have a border agent murdered by those cartels, then argue we need more gun control. Do they think we’re idiots or not paying attention? Yes. Here’s the evidence:

Attorney General Eric Holder attributed the difficulty preventing gun-trafficking into Mexico to weak gun controls laws, when he blamed on the U.S. House, with particular reference to the House investigators asking him about Operation Fast and Furious.

“ATF’s ability to stem the flow of guns from the United States into Mexico suffers from a lack of effective enforcement tools,” Holder told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee today.

In the latest play on racism, corrupt and crooked Congressman Charlie Rangel (D-NY) says that we need more government jobs for minorities because the private sector has too much discrimination and racism. I give up. Let's just admit that everyone is a bigoted SOB and all white people hate all people of color and every difference of opinion is based on race. It'll just be easier and we'll take away their race card.

Finally, Michelle Obama tells the Hollywood elite that her husband has made "remarkable" progress on the economy: First Lady Michelle Obama cited "remarkable progress" on the economy during a speech for a small crowd of high-profile Hollywood names in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Obama, with all due respect, please just shut up. But let's not waste this teachable moment from her remarks. Read it closely and you'll understand they are determined to fundamentally transform America:

"You’re here because you know that we stand at a fundamental crossroads for our country," Michelle Obama told them. "You’re here because you know that in less than a year from now, we are going to make a choice that will impact our lives for decades to come."

God save the Republic.

All I have to say is that Charlie Rangel is an idiot and I don’t know how bigoted degenerates like him hold public office.

Amen, Michael. It certainly was a bad news day. But, then, it seems everyday since President Obama was elected has been a bad news day. Here’s hoping and praying for better news tomorrow!
