Thomas Jefferson once commented that an informed citizenry is the only true repository of the public will.
Jefferson properly understood how necessary it is for the survival of the republic that people understand the basic principles of limited government, our system of checks and balances, the concept of federalism, the essential foundations of our liberty and freedom.
An ignorant and uninformed society is susceptible to tyranny.
Popular culture often reflects society at large. So how informed is the current citizenry?
