It is the progressives who want to turn the USA into a pure democracy which the founding fathers never intended it to be. I want to see the repeal of the 17th amendment, but then I would also like to live long enough to see the Pittsburgh Pirates win another world series. at 71 years old I doubt I will live long enough to see either one.

Good luck with that, Romney (aka Bob Dole#2) is a dud, if (establishment) Republicans really believed in constitutional government and freedom, they would have gotten behind Ron Paul. Paul is a true contrast to a Obama, a true statesman, and not a sell out to the highest bidder. Instead they continue to show what their true values are, feeding the republican money machine, serving their own interests, and serving the corporate interests who give them the money. They trust that Romney will do their bidding, and rightfully so, they don’t trust that Paul would, also rightfully so.

BTW If you were a for profit corporation and you gave a million dollars to a political action comity, would you expect some legislative help in return? Is it bribery if they do get the legislation in return.

Justice Roberts and the Republicans say nope, that’s just a little free speech, and it is nothing like bribery. Corporations can buy any elected official they want, its their right, thanks to Justice Roberts and the Republican’s. Corporations now have more rights as persons than individuals do, just the way the Republicans think it should be.

I would encourage everyone who thinks Obama can’t run on his record to watch the video. If this is his narrative its going to be a tough road for Romney (aka Bob Dole #2).

Is Obama a Marxist because he wants to return tax rates to the Reagan Levels? Does that make Reagan a commie as well? If that’s the case what would you call Eisenhower, under him the top marginal rate was over 85%, Obama only wants to return to 35%.

Don’t take my word for it, Google it if you don’t believe me, the Republican’s have been lying to you all for years.

Obama is not asking for the rich to pay a higher percent of their income than any other American, he is asking them to pay the same rate as everyone else. Of course every time anyone talks about asking the super rich, to pay an equal tax rate they start acting like toddlers who never learned to share, No! No! No! Mine! whaaaaa! Mine! whaaaa!

Hey Mike, don’t forget that for the past year or so MSNBC has used the slogan “Lean Forward” in their supposedly neutral commercials that CLEARLY serve as Obama propaganda! They must figure that for communism to work you need state-run media and they are trying to line themselves up for the appointment!

My point with Carter is that he had a set big enough to try that failed rescue mission. The Bin Laden mission was similar, and if it had not worked out the republicans would have finally had a legitimate way to tie Obama to Carter.

I don’t see despite all you folks flailing about, how Romney (aka Bob Dole 2) can beat Obama. Obama has done a pretty good job of taking away the strengths of your platform. You folks have failed in demonizing Obama as most normal folks don’t buy into the bs right wingers have been throwing for 4 years. The birth certificate, the radical black beliefs, or the Obama the lazy black president spending your money like a welfare recipient who hit the lotto, they see it as racism and sour grapes. To top it off your candidate has zero charisma, and he has a silver spoon back round in a time period where that is a major liability.

Brevity, point taken, I’ll see if I can apply that to the next one.

Oh, just to rub it in, Josh. Even the Washington Post’s Dana Milbank (a liberal and lefty is there ever was one – and diehard Obama supporter) calls Obama’s exploitation of Bin Laden killing, non-stop campaigning “Sleazy” so maybe you ought to reflect a little more on your position.
